OUR INTERVENTION
The HEAL initiative for health focuses on various healthcare interventions, including health promotion, disease prevention, care provision and rehabilitation services.
Health promotion
- It involves raising awareness and educating individuals and communities about healthy lifestyles and behaviors. By empowering individuals with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health, the organization aims to prevent diseases and improve overall well-being.
Disease prevention
- The organization works towards reducing the incidence of preventable diseases through vaccination campaigns, screening programs, and early detection initiatives. By identifying risk factors and implementing preventive measures such as immunizations or screenings for common diseases like hypertension or diabetes, the organization aims to minimize the burden of illness on individuals and communities.
Care provision
- The organization strives to ensure that quality healthcare services are accessible to all individuals in need. This includes establishing clinics or medical centers where patients can receive primary healthcare services such as consultations, diagnostic tests, medications, and basic treatments. By providing essential care services close to communities’ residences, the organization aims to overcome barriers related to distance or lack of resources.
Rehabilitation
- It focuses on restoring physical function and improving quality of life for individuals who have experienced injuries or disabilities due to accidents or illnesses. Rehabilitation services may include physiotherapy sessions, occupational therapy programs, assistive device provision (such as wheelchairs), or counseling support for mental health issues resulting from physical impairments.
