OUR APPROACH

The HEAL initiative follows three key approaches to achieve its goals.

Evidence-based approach

  • The HEAL initiative relies on evidence-based practices and interventions to guide its healthcare interventions. This means that decisions and actions are based on the best available scientific evidence, ensuring that the organization’s efforts are effective and efficient in improving health outcomes.

Participatory approach

  •  The HEAL initiative recognizes the importance of involving local communities, individuals, and stakeholders in decision-making processes related to healthcare. By engaging with the community members and understanding their needs, preferences, and cultural contexts, the organization can develop tailored interventions that are more likely to be accepted and sustainable.

Holistic approach

  • The HEAL initiative takes a holistic view of health by considering not only physical well-being but also social, emotional, and environmental factors that influence health outcomes. This approach acknowledges that health is influenced by various interconnected factors such as education, income inequality, housing conditions, and access to clean water. By addressing these broader determinants of health alongside medical care provision, the organization aims to improve overall well-being in the communities it serves.
